Someone’s managed to force their way through the doors of the RPS Treehouse, and like a cat that knows it belongs wherever it pleases, he’s settled himself in the corner he’s deemed comfiest, and refuses to budge. Ah well, might as well mic him up and ask him what he’s playing this weekend.

Well, of course, I have to celebrate my first week as a full-time writer, which means cowering in a dark, damp corner while I’m stalked by some nightmarish, Tim-Burton-esque entity that probably has hands for eyes or something. Unfortunately, the roster of rickety little gremlin friends with extendable necks living in my walls are away on business for the spooky season, so I guess that means I’m playing Little Nightmares 3. And when I’ve no doubt dusted that off in a single sitting, it’s right back to Ghost of Yotei. I can’t wait to settle in, get immersed in my tireless pursuit for vengeance and then, as always, pause that pursuit instantly to chase after the first fox I see.
Edwin
Edwin is busily backbacking eastwards around the world.

I’m still playing Silksong, for something vaguely resembling fun rather than work. But I’ve been decompressing with some straightforward go-fastering in Forza Horizon 5, and will be trying out the Valor Mortis playtest that’s running this weekend. “Well that’s just Silksong with first-person and pointy hats”, says the nonexistent antagonist I just pulled from the middle of my head. I’ll show him.
Jeremy
Jeremy met Edwin during his own backpacking voyage westwards around the world, and now the two are having a fistfight in the Bering Sea.

I’m now about 12 hours into my Fallout: London playthrough so far, and while it’s been cool, I don’t reckon I’ve run across that many fresh DLC additions yet. So, I’ll continue to stalk the streets by the Thames, as well as checking out a couple of next festy demos.

I’m trying to break my Hades pattern of playing all day for two days then forgetting about it for a year by actually getting really into Hades 2. The gloomishly luminescent vibe is much more my thing that the molten underworld stuff, so that’s a plus. Otherwise, it’s October, so I’ll probably crack on with my yearly Resident Evil binge. I have 112 hours in Resi 4 Remake, apparently, and I still want more.
Ollie
I’m bouncing between an unhealthy number of factory games at the moment. I was sticking purely to Dyson Sphere Program, but my brother’s talks about his current Shapez 2 playthrough made me want to start a new game of my own. And now I’ve discovered the demo to the adorable Little Rocket Lab, which appears to be Stardew Valley crossed with Factorio. It’s a good thing I’ve got a holiday coming up.
And you, reader dear, what are you playing this weekend?…
